- Alex Moore Review added: 2018.08.11★ ★ ★ ★ ★We had a loft conversion - a bedroom and separate bathroom - carried out by Bespoke Lofts between February and April 2018. We absolutely love what they’ve done, and have no hesitation in highly recommending them. In addition to a core team that included an experienced foreman and project manager, the company buys in high-quality craftspeople to undertake the plastering, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, tiling and roofing - all of them providing an excellent service. In our case, this included Neal the carpenter, Danny and Reece the roofers (of RS Roofing), Mitchell the electrician, Mike and Steve the plumbers, and Niko and his team of tilers. Because they had all worked regularly with Bespoke previously, they all knew each other, got on well together, and worked very well as a team. They also clearly enjoyed working with Bespoke. Apart from the ‘trades’, we were particularly blessed in having a fantastic foreman in Warren. He was hardworking, courteous, friendly, and always ready to listen to questions and suggestions however trivial or daft, looking back now, some of them must have seemed. Peter our project manager was also extremely efficient in dealing with any queries and making sure any small snags were quickly dealt with at the end of the build. We chose our own bathroom furniture from Gracious Living in Highams Park, a company recommended by Bespoke, and they were also fantastic to deal with: helpful, patient and customer-friendly, with an impressive showroom. All in all, what might have been a stressful couple of months turned out to be far more pleasant than expected, and having so many different trades on site meant that the work was finished well within the predicted timescale without sacrificing quality. When the job was finished, we used interior decorators (Tony and Mark) recommended by Bespoke to paint the new bedroom and varnish the floor, and are very happy with the job they have done.
